Super exciting stuff in this week's blog post!! We finally visited Make It Vancouver this year! The event was great, lots of people, creative goodies er'where. Here are some photos of the event!
Located at Croation Cultural Centre in Vancouver. A couple of blocks away from the skytrain station. It was pretty sunny, but mad chilly. Looks like winter is making an early visit this year... Forgot to bring a scarf, was freezing. Luckily the event was held indoors!
Bought our tickets at the door, $4 for early bird. One time purchase that can be used from Friday to Sunday! Andddd if you keep the ticket, you can redeem a 2 for 1 ticket for the next event. Sweet!

Stopped by to check out awesome work by the talented Gabe Wong, selling calendar and prints (of Canadian animals drawn by him), and these super cute paper men! Reminds me of cubeecraft! Interested in his work, email him at designustrator@gmail.com
These derp lookin' monsters are toooo adorable! Just look at their faces... and teeth. They're super soft. Some of them even have small sections of fabric (which I assume them to be organs) coming out of their mouth. Dolls were selling for $50+ and up!
Next find was cabin+cub. I immediately recognized the "Hello Sunshine" brooch from Paperya in Granville Island. Such a pretty design. Fell in love with it all over again. She had tiny bamboo earrings in shapes of squirrels, clouds, and birds. So cute! I wanted to buy them all.
Walked by this vendor with super cute card designs. They also had assorted mini mini cards for $1 each. How cute is this reindeer one?! Haha. Check out their website here: note+emote.

We also dropped by The Tiny Fig to check out her cute creations. I personally have three pairs of earrings from her, all super adorable and of great quality. If you missed this booth, they will be at another upcoming event, Got Craft on Dec 8-9. We are sad to hear your passing, Connie. Thank you for sharing your lovely work with the rest of the world.

Saw many people carrying stones with cactus plants in them. I've always wanted one, and so, yes, I got one. The small ones like these were $15. Felt kinda ripped off... and the seller quickly placed it in the bag while I was asking him questions. Was somewhat annoyed and almost didn't want to buy it anymore. Named it after the Pokemon, Bulbasaur *U*. Only after I came home did I learn that cactus plants aren't good for fengshui.. Hmm.. oh well!
Also bought an Animal wristlet keychain from Noei. Also recognized her products from Paperya. Had such a hard time choosing which design to buy.. they were all so whimsical and cute!
Had a great time overall at Make It Vancouver. Will definitely have to look into getting a booth for TWOANDTEE for the next few events and to be a part of the huge creative, crafty community.

Team TWOANDTEE met up yesterday with a sole purpose to brainstorm and finalize swagtastic stuff. We are proud to say that it's more or less set in stone. Nothing short of awesome fo sho. Lots of work up ahead for us at full speed so stay tuned for updates in the near future!

Sorry for the lack of updates. It's been a busy busy few weeks for the two Tees. Lots of awesome things and swags coming up in the near future. We're both super excited! Be sure to look out for our random appearances.. muahaha
What did you guys do this weekend? I was attending to a booth at a local market. There were lots of tables selling random items and past treasures waiting to be rediscovered. While walking around the booths, I stumbled upon a rare find. It was a Polaroid Sun 660. I just HAD to get it. Despite the discontinued production of polaroid films, it makes a unique decoration/prop. The lady was nice and sold it to me for half the price. It was an epic steal.
Summer is almost coming to an end. You know what that means.. back to school for some of us! What are your plans for the last few days?
Decided to doodle on my arms instead of a weekly doodle for a change! Change is always good. Wish my bones could change into these neon-like ones instead. Heh.

We often get asked the question "why did you name your brand/company TWO&TEE?"
What better way to answer that question once and for all than to use this week's blog entry as an opportunity to share with you guys the story behind the name.
To properly and accurately answer that question, we'd have to go all the way back to the summer of 2009. At that time we were two complete strangers who were randomly paired together for a design assignment. (Random side note: Theresa's first impression of me was "Oh sweet baby Jesus I hope he speaks English" because well... apparently my style then was "SUPER ASIAN" with super "crazy blonde spiky" hair).
The premise behind the design assignment was to carry out and execute a full scale branding and packaging design project. We had to design & create everything from the logo to business cards & letter heads to the actual packaging of the product for our mock company.
In short, we went with our "t-shirts rolled up and stuffed in a cake icing can" idea and being the punny individuals that we are, we decided to call it Cake & Tee.
Happy Sunday er'one! Something strange have been happening in Raincouver Vancouver this past week... us Vancouverites have been fortunate enough to experience some extremely beautiful & sunny weather within the last few days! Dare we say that we might actually get to experience a real summer this year?! Haha let's hope the rest of July and August will be more or less the same.
It's that time of the week again... yup our weekly blog update! Team TWO&TEE is of course hard at work (although we try to steal some sunshine here and there) but unfortunately we don't have a lot of pictures to share this week since most (if not all) of the items on our agenda needs to be kept top secret.
On the flip side, we do have something rather exciting to share with all of you! Our friend DJ Froto created a special little mix (song choices were all very fitting of TWO&TEE if we do say so ourselves haha) for a mixing contest and one of our tees made a special guest appearance in the video :)

Wow, it's July 1st already! Do I see sunshine?.. summer, is that you? A huge Happy Birthday shout out to the CANADA, Land Of The Free! There are tons of festivities and scheduled fireworks all night! Hurrah for long weekends, perfect time to chill, catch up, and relax with your friends and family. What are your plans for today?
So.. this week has been a quiet week for the both of us. One TEE was busy preppin' for her killer midterm, while the other one was busy working away at Project Top-secret-swag-stuff. What is that, you ask? Well, you'll just have to wait and find out, hehe! We also have several collaborations coming up! Very exciting stuff to be released soon along with another AWESOME contest! Well it's official folks! Summer is officially here! Even though it's a norm for us "Raincouverites", heavy downpour of rain is no way to welcome this awesome season with open arms. Hopefully we'll be able to experience a real summer this year in Vancouver :)

Sorry for the long wait and a huge huge HUGE thank you to all of you for being so patient with us these past few weeks! Between the two of us, we had no clue how to set up and program an e-commerce web store so it was definitely a learn-as-we-went process, which is also why it took us longer than we had originally anticipated.
Regardless, we knew that we wanted to do it ourselves and not outsource it to a third party or host our store on one of the many, widely available e-merchant services. Sure it would've made our lives a lot easier but TWO&TEE is our baby and we want to do it our way... even if it means not sleeping for a day or two and flipping over several tables in the process.
All the work we've put into this store is for no one else other than all of our TEE-rrific customers & supporters :)
